Born in Parmarolle, Abitibi, Louisa Nicol trained at the School of Fine Arts of Quebec. During the past 25 years, Louisa Nicole has exhibited in Canada, France and Japan. She illustrated many literary works and lives in Montreal. Louisa Nicol taught art at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) from 1976 to 2003. Today she runs her art atelier in Montreal and an art school for vacationers, Beaux Arts Rosa Bonheur, in Palmarolle.

Née à Parmarolle, Abitibi, Louisa Nicol a été formée à l’École des Beaux Arts de Québec. Louisa Nicol expose depuis plus de 25 ans au Canada, en France et au Japon. Elle a illustré plusieurs ouvrages littéraires et vit à Montréal. Louisa Nicol a enseigné le dessin à l’Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) de 1976 à 2003.
Aujourd’hui elle gère un atelier d’art à Montréal et une école d’art pour vacanciers, Beaux Arts Rosa Bonheur, à Palmarolle.
