Please help us nurture the unique voices and stories of this country. By donating to Playwrights’ Workshop Montréal, you are actively supporting the work of theatre artists from across Canada, offering them the opportunity to explore and deepen their plays.
We rely on support from individuals like you, who believe in the transformative power of theatre to fund our core programming. Our goal is to raise $12,000 for PWM during our Third Annual Phone-a-thon. Please consider making a commitment. Your support - in any amount - will make a difference!

THE BOOK FIGHT for “Making Room for Creation”!

Participate in a Book Swap to raise money for PWM's Studio Space renovations
Deets: Spend time with friends over a free “BookWorm” cocktail, tea, coffee and snackeroos, unload your preloved books and pick up some new ones!
Admission: $10 (included in price of admission: one “BookWorm” cocktail AND a chance to win a doorprize!)
Instructions:
- At 6:30pm bring your books to swap.
- We will lay them out.
- Go shopping!
- When you find a book you want, write your name on the provided paper inside the book.
- At 7:30 sharp, you are free to take your new books. HOWEVER, if someone else is interested in the same book...
- FIGHT for it! You have 5 options: arm-wrestle, leg-wrestle, thumb-wrestle, rock, paper, scissors or staring contest. Winner gets the book.
- At 8pm, if needed we do a second round of “BOOK FIGHT”
- From 8:30-9:30pm, hang out and continue to shop the leftover books, chat and refresh with refreshments!!!
