Dry Lips Oughta Move to Kapuskasing

Dry Lips Ougtha Move to Kapuskasing is Tomson Highway's second play in the trilogy which began with The Rez Sisters. Both plays are set in the mythical Wasaychigan Hill Indian Reserve. It is a story about seven "Wasy" men and the game of Hockey.

Dry Lips Oughta Move to Kapuskasing won the Floyd S. Chalmers Award for Outstanding New Canadian Play in 1989 and played two seasons in Toronto, at Theatre Passe-Muraille, and then at the Royal Alexandre Theatre. Dry Lips was workshopped at Playwrights' Workshop Montréal in 1987.
