Welcome to The Carol Libman Online Script Collection

Named for one of the founders of Playwrights’ Workshop Montréal, the on-line script collection is a database and virtual library. The collection includes over 500 script titles by Canadian playwrights developed with Playwrights’ Workshop Montréal since our founding in 1963. Currently, you can view the full text of about thirty of these scripts on-line. The full text of all the scripts is available in our offices for members to peruse.

You can direct inquiries about scripts or rights to Playwrights’ Workshop Montréal, or, where indicated, to the writer or publisher.

To enable you to communicate any comments about scripts, we have created an online message bulletin board. You can access the board anytime by clicking on the “discussion” button on the menu.

You don’t need any special software to browse the database, but to read the scripts that are available online you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not already have Acrobat Reader on your computer, download it from Adobe’s web site (free of charge).
