I attended the Tadoussac Translation Colony to work on my translation of Reynald Robinson’s Far Horizons Hotel. The colony afforded me the most incredible opportunity to get away and write. The beautiful surroundings were like a sanctuary, where I could devote myself to my work.

Playwrights’ Workshop Montréal is the perfect organization to be running this type of residency, with its history in the theatre community, and its long history of translation projects. Linda Gaboriau’s years of experience and incredible track record make her the senior translator in the country. She was an excellent choice as coordinator and dramaturg of the colony.
