This new adaptation of Serge Boucher's 24 Exposures - something I've dreamt of doing for the last 5 years - would probably never have happened without this residency. It took ten intensive days of thinking, researching, imagining, experimenting and regular consulting with Serge to first of all find the right approach and then begin re-working the play from beginning to end in
its new incarnation. Although Serge and I live in the same city taking this kind of time out of our
regular lives would have been impossible.

I can't think of a better place to have done this exciting work. Everything about the setting and set-up nourishes and inspires - from the breathtaking natural beauty, to the warmth of Bill's home with its wealth of books and art, to the great bunch of fellow artists, Linda's wonderful gifts as "animatrice", and the best food of any residency ever! While Bill was sorely missed his spirit was felt. The whole experience was intimate, enriching and thoroughly stimulating. My heartfelt thanks to PWM for conceiving and coordinating the residency and to the Glassco family for sharing their wonderful family home.

One suggestion... it would be great to know a bit about the other participants beforehand to have some familiarity with their work. Even better would have been to have several copies of their work available to read on site. Only a couple of people had samples of their work to share.
