With a focus on dramaturgy, its mission is to collaborate with artists in the development of new works of theatre and performance. YCU offers emerging artists innovative, interactive, and dynamic workshops that focus on creation, dramaturgy, and professional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.playwrights.ca\/fr\/new-stories-project\/\">New Stories Project<\/a>&nbsp;offers a series of accessible storytelling workshops to emerging and established neurodivergent artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#2f0bc3\">Primary Responsibilities as the YCU &amp; New Stories Coordinator&nbsp;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><em>(approx. 18 hours per week)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Track the budget for YCU and New Stories in collaboration with the Managing Director and Dramaturgs;<\/li><li>Carry out the administrative tasks for both programs, including contracts, payments and data entry for development workshops, mentorships and professional development activities;<\/li><li>Coordinate and assist in the production of the YCU Showcase and Queer Reading Series &#8211; liaise with various staff for contracting, marketing and communications and artist support;<\/li><li>Coordinate and assist in the production of outcomes for the New Stories program (events or online videos);<\/li><li>Gather and synthesize feedback from participants of both programs;<\/li><li>Monitor and produce content for PWM\u2019s YCU Facebook group;<\/li><li>Assist PWM\u2019s Dramaturgs with outreach, research, program development, and grant writing for both programs;<\/li><li>Research and communicate professional development opportunities for YCU participants;<\/li><li>Act as a liaison between PWM and program participants;<\/li><li>Other related tasks as assigned by PWM Dramaturgs.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#2f0bc3\">Primary Responsibilities as Administration Assistant&nbsp;<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><em>(approx. 22 hours per week<\/em> &#8212; <em>*these tasks take place throughout the year and do not all happen simultaneously<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Office Management:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Answer general enquiries through the info email address and telephone;<\/li><li>Manage PWM\u2019s studio and office supplies that includes managing the office supplies budget, ordering of supplies and maintaining a well organized studio and office space;<\/li><li>Assist and lead PWM in maintaining clean filing systems both online and in paper;<\/li><li>Research, optimize and manage various administrative tools (example: internet, telephone, photocopier, subscriptions to various services, software licences, insurance companies, membership to various arts organizations, etc);<\/li><li>Regularly update contact information in our database CiviCRM;<\/li><li>Coordinate the weekly staff meeting agenda, and take meeting minutes;<\/li><li>Coordinate the board meetings (6-7 per year): assist the Managing Director and Board of Directors with the agenda preparation and advance reading materials, scheduling, taking the board meeting minutes and maintaining PWM\u2019s minute book<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Programs Assistance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Greet workshop participants and prepare the studio space (printing scripts, setting out tables, chairs, pens, coffee, etc);<\/li><li>Manage all of PWM\u2019s studio rentals that includes coordination with the renter, paperwork and invoicing;<\/li><li>Keep PWM\u2019s Carol Libman Library organized and up to date;<\/li><li>Update PWM\u2019s casting book for development workshops &#8212; work with the PWM team to implement a new digital format;<\/li><li>Data entry: manage PWM\u2019s CiviCRM database with the outcomes of all artistic projects andevents. Assist staff with data entry, leading and guiding questions about data entry<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Administrative Assistance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Prepare and send invoices, make payments, and enter receipts into Quickbooks;<\/li><li>Update PWM\u2019s annual CADAC statistics with the Canada Council for the Arts;<\/li><li>Assist the Managing Director in organizing files for the annual audit;<\/li><li>Assist the Managing Director and bookkeeper in organizing files for end of month reconciliation;<\/li><li>Assist the Managing Director with grant reporting;<\/li><li>Assist with onboarding new employees, including assigning keys, creating accounts with various programs\/software, and training on administrative procedures;<\/li><li>Other related tasks as assigned by PWM\u2019s Managing Director and Artistic Director<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#2f0bc3\">Comp\u00e9tences et caract\u00e9ristiques<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Excellent time management and organizational skills;<\/li><li>Ability to meet simultaneous deadlines;<\/li><li>Ability to think critically and independently problem solve;<\/li><li>Aptitude \u00e0 travailler de mani\u00e8re autonome et en \u00e9quipe;<\/li><li>Ability to communicate effectively;<\/li><li>Keen attention to detail;<\/li><li>Takes initiative;<\/li><li>Enjoys clerical work that includes data entry, typing, filing and organizing;<\/li><li>A commitment to PWM\u2019s values of equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#2f0bc3\">qualifications<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1-2 years experience in an administration or project management role or equivalent<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Technical knowledge:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>PWM uses the following software\/programs to facilitate our work: G Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Drive), CiviCRM, Quickbooks, Slack, Asana.
